About Taylor

Creative strategist. Team builder. Brand(er).

I'm a creative leader with fifteen years at the intersection of brand, content, and commerce — from shaping Guitar Center's in-house creative team, to directing campaigns with the biggest names in music, to redefining Live Nation's brand aesthetic, expanding Córdoba's global product presence, and leading a 30+ person creative organization at Backcountry.

I'm also a firm believer that creatives shouldn't be just one thing. Range is the whole point — every discipline you explore sharpens the others. It's why I build teams, produce documentaries, shape brands, and write novels. The work gets better when the person making it keeps expanding what they're capable of.

My goal is simple: explore as many avenues as I can — and encourage more creatives to push what's possible.

My Approach

Big process guy. Process + communication + adaptability = creative excellence
(01)

Team Leadership

I build in-house creative teams that operate like an agency — designers, writers, producers, photo, video, and creative ops under one vision, at up to 30-plus people strong.

Proof: Built Guitar Center's 20+ person in-house agency; now lead a 30+ person org and $2M+ budget at Backcountry.

(02)

Global Brand Positioning

Aesthetic, tone, perception, and experience aligned across every touchpoint and medium, then held to standard as the brand scales.

Proof: Redefined Live Nation's brand aesthetic during a record-profitability run; overhauled Backcountry's brand and imagery framework.

(03)

Art Direction & Production

Campaigns directed end-to-end with major artists and athletes — from concept and negotiation to the final frame.

Proof: Brought Backcountry onto the global stage — field-testing product on productions in Iceland, Nicaragua, New Zealand, and Costa Rica; brokered the Marley Estate deal and launched Guild's most successful modern acoustic.

(04)

AI-Modern Creative Operations

AI-assisted workflows integrated into ideation, production, and content scalability — a creative org built for how brands compete now.

Proof: Introduced AI-assisted creative workflows at Backcountry while maintaining premium brand standards.

My writing outlet

Writing is one of my favorite outlets — a way to build worlds, bring characters to life, and chase fascinating subjects deep into history, science, and the philosophy of life.

Book Spotlight · New — 2026

Cyclus

Book two of the Continuum series. A sci-fi thriller built around a terrifying idea: a virus that doesn't just spread — it adapts, rewriting the rules of evolution faster than humanity can answer. Survival means understanding the cycle. Breaking it means something else entirely.

"A creative, action-packed, and thought-provoking read."
